Solar module for the rail

The FLINrail+ is the perfect solar solution for retrofitting. With no complex installation required, the solar panel simply hooks into the railing and can be used both at anchor and while sailing. The bifacial solar panel uses the front and back to capture solar energy, so when mounted vertically, it delivers similar daily yields as two classic solar panels of the same size. It can also be angled at any angle to be highly efficient even when the sun is high in the sky.

The FLINrail+can be quickly and easily hooked into the railing wire. A line runs out of each corner and disappears into the frame of the solar module. The loose ends are hooked into the foot railing or the lower railing wire using the carabiners. When the FLINrail+ is aligned, the loose lines pull themselves into the frame of the module and tighten. With the help of the four clamps in the corners, the FLINrail+ can be fixed at any angle.

Perfect angle - Highest efficiency

Decisive for the maximum output of a solar module is its alignment at the perfect angle. For maximum energy generation from solar radiation, the solar modules in the FLINrail+ can be aligned synchronously with the sun. This enables maximum solar energy gain even in the evening hours when the sun is low in the sky. When the FLINrail+ is at the perfect angle, you can even achieve greater charging currents than using a common shore power charger.

Bifacial solar module

The bifacial solar module can capture sunlight with both the front and the back and convert it into electrical energy. If the FLINrail+ hangs vertically in the railing, it does not matter from which side it is illuminated. In addition, the side facing away from the sun captures reflected light, significantly increasing the efficiency of the solar system. FLINrail+ generates up to 80% more energy than a classic solar module of the same size. This means that the maximum amount of energy can be generated in the smallest possible space, which is an enormous advantage, especially on smaller yachts and boats.
