Henri and his crew first found out about our self-sufficient energy supply solutions at a boat show in Berlin. However, due to the special design of their boat - a pointed gaff without a suitable railing segment - our module for the railing was not an option.
But with the combination of a hydrogenerator while underway and our 3M-FLINsail in the mast, the energy supply is now perfectly secured.
At the time of his message, the State of Charge (SoC) was 93%, even though it had rained continuously the day before and they had been running their water treatment system since the morning. A clear difference to the time before the FLINsail, according to Henri!
Although he was initially unsure about the costs and the expected installation effort, he is now convinced: “It was absolutely worth it.”

At dinner on another boat, the FLINsail was also discussed directly as a possible solution. We are delighted that the enthusiasm is spreading!
